South African Government Faces Lawsuit Over Alcohol Ban

The ban was among several new lockdown measures prompted by surging COVID-19 infections.

South African Breweries (SAB) is taking the South African government to court over the latest ban on the sale of alcohol, which has been viewed as one of the more punitive lockdown regulations enforced in the last week of 2020.
