Silvester loses Covid battle – The Namibian

MUSEUMS Association of Namibia (MAN) director, historian, freedom fighter, revolutionary and mentor, Jeremy Gale Silvester, passed away on Monday, 5 July.

This was announced on the MAN’s official Facebook page.

“Jeremy was hospitalised with Covid-19-related complications for four weeks and received the best of care while we continued to pray and hope that he would recover. We ask that you keep his family and close friends in your thoughts. He was passionate about his work in Namibia and his contribution to Namibian history, museums and heritage. The arts and culture sector will be impacted for generations,” the post said.
