LINEUP: Iwobi returns for Lesotho clash after overcoming COVID-19

Gernot Rohr, Super Eagles head coach, has named the starting lineup for the game against Lesotho at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.

Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho returns to the Super Eagles starting eleven for the first time since 2019 when he sustained an injury in a game against Brazil.

The only change to the backline that faced Benin Republic is Ola Aina who makes way for Tyrone Ebuehi.

Completing the backline are Leon Balogun, William Troost-Ekong, and Zaidu Sanusi while Galatasaray star Oghenekaro Etebo will form a double pivot with Wilfred Ndidi in midfield.

Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo was not included in the matchday squad.

Earlier in the day, Alex Iwobi tested negative for COVID-19 following a positive result last weekend.

The Everton star starts on the left wing with Samuel Chukwueze attacking from the right side.

In-form strikers, Victor Osimhen and Kelechi Iheanacho, are the arrowheads up front.

The game will get underway at 5pm.
