Keep these MMDA road reblocking areas in mind this weekend

Heads up again, motorists. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has announced another batch of road reblocking for this weekend.

Beginning 11pm tonight, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will be conducting road repairs at the following areas. These will re-open at 5am on May 3. Look:

  1. EDSA Northbound near Kaingin Road, Quezon City
  2. EDSA Northbound, Quezon Avenue to the front of Landmark (first lane from bike lane)
  3. EDSA Southbound, opposite of Trinoma Mall (second lane from the sidewalk)
  4. Agham Road in front of the Office of the Ombudsman (first lane from the center island) – Take North Avenue, Quezon Avenue, and EDSA as alternate routes.
  5. West Avenue, Times Street to Quezon Avenue (first lane from the sidewalk)

Again, the MMDA is advising all affected motorists to steer clear of the abovementioned areas to avoid any inconvenience.

If you still plan on being out this weekend, keep in mind that Metro Manila’s new 10pm to 4am curfew hours are kicking in tomorrow. As always, stay safe out there and keep your masks on.
