Dunsborough microbrewery and accommodation on Dunn Bay Road to give town tourist strip a modern makeover

WA hospitality heavyweight Miles Hull, the man behind Little Creatures and the Alex Hotel, will oversee the microbrewery and accommodation offerings of the new development through his Dark Horse Hospitality Group.

Facilities would be world-class but with a “down-south vibe” while food and beverage services would extend to breakfast, lunch and dinner and welcome patrons straight from the beach or outdoor activities.

Lead consultant Place Development Australia, which has helped develop the new Pirate Life Brewery in Perth and FOMO Kingsquare in Fremantle, had assembled a team of hospitality and design experts from the South West and across WA for the precinct, which it hoped to open early next year.

“This bespoke social hub will be carefully designed to ensure a light-touch approach to the existing Dugelup Brook creek line and the substantial retention of trees, native landscaping, and solar optimisation,” Place Development Australia said.
