Bezant Resources PLC said Thursday that it has located and sampled up to four historic manganese occurrences at its Kanye project in Botswana.
The London-listed mining company said it obtained 40 grab samples which delivered high-grade manganese results.
“The reconnaissance prospecting and sampling work has given exciting indications of potential for high-grade manganese deposits suitable for upgrading to high-purity for battery manufacture,” Executive Chairman Colin Bird said.
“We now intend to carry out a program of pitting and trenching to lead us towards the best targets and help optimize a drilling program,” he said.
